Cassowary Coast Biosecurity Plan
Cassowary Coast Regional Council is actively developing the Draft Cassowary Coast Local Area Biosecurity Plan for 2025-2029, aimed at enhancing our region's resilience against biosecurity threats. This comprehensive plan will provide a strategic framework for managing invasive species, protecting our unique ecosystems, and safeguarding our agricultural industries. It will help coordinate response efforts, allocate resources effectively, clarify legal obligations and engage the community in proactive measures to preserve our environment and economy.
Cassowary Coast Regional Council will update the community and work with key stakeholders throughout the development phase of the plan.
